Register to Paint – May 5th


The Loyola Park Advisory Council is excited to pilot its first lottery for the final 50 Artists of the Wall slots. Each year, on May 1, 3, and 5, the volunteers at LPAC open registration for Artists of the Wall, and the slots fill up in less than ten minutes. This year, we are piloting a lottery to give all community members a chance to participate.

Artists of the Wall is on June 15 and 16, 2024. Spots are large and can take two days to paint, so we require registrants to check in before noon on Saturday, June 15, or make other arrangements with the organizers. No applicants can check in after 11 a.m. on June 16.

Rules and Process

  • One entry per household. If you enter more than once per household, all your entries could be deleted without notice.
  • The lottery will be open between 8AM and 5PM on Sunday, May 5.
  • Applicants will be selected by a random number generator by LPAC volunteers.
  • By 6PM on Monday, May 6, those chosen in the lottery will receive a password-protected form to register and pay for their Artists of the Wall spot from
  • Registration must be completed by the time listed in the registration notice or we will head to the next randomly selected applicants.
  • The price for each spot is $35 for the spot and $8 for paint.

If you can’t make it, we’ll keep you on a waiting list and send you information about any walk-up slots.
